Five Acts: How It Works
1. Post a list of your five favorite acts/kinks/themes to read about. At the bottom, add what fandoms/pairings you're interested in. If you need inspiration for "acts" check out THIS list.

"Acts" and Expansion
1. Emotional issues
• Mind games, emotional dependency, consent issues or compulsion, addiction, guilt
• Intimacy with someone they know they shouldn't trust, or intimacy with someone they don't trust
• Amoral, sociopath, and/or borderline evil characters
• Self-loathing characters, or characters who are excessively reverent
• Recovery from a betrayal or heartbreak
2. Elements of risk
• Post-battle adrenaline, fear of loss, rough and fast, bruising
• Sexual encounters somewhere or at a time when they really, really shouldn't
• Fear of discovery, attempting to be silent, toys under clothes, exhibitionism
• A degree of anonymity, including well-known characters in disguise in public, caught by surprise from behind, or blindfolds
• Spying on another couple
3. Intimacy
• Dressing, bathing, shaving, silence and darkness
• Exploration of clothing, especially uniforms or formalwear; provocative clothing
• Afterglow or aftercare, recovery after orgasm
• Learning each other... or re-learning after an estrangement, absence, or betrayal
• Secrets, shared or kept by one partner; including partners who are different in private or with their significant other
4. Power dynamic
• Dominant tops, pushy bottoms, or topping from the bottom
• Someone in a position of power who voluntarily submits to someone of a lesser status, or someone in a position of power whose intimacy with someone of a lesser status could be seen as questionable
• Light degradation, including hands-and-knees, sex from behind, service, bondage
• Loss of control or deliberate stripping of control
• Sex while one or more partner is still dressed, provocative clothing, deliberate nudity
• Eliciting sexual response from a sleeping partner; teasing while keeping them asleep, waking them with sex, etc
5. Size differences
• A larger partner who feels the delicacy of their smaller partner, or vice versa
• Having to go slow or engage in careful stretching for comfortable sex
• Eroticized big hands, small breasts, etc
