Jade and Peony
who holds the umbrella when it rains
No one in particular. Peony's always willing to do it because he's good-natured like that, but he is also the more active of the two and likes to be moving and touching, so Jade sometimes finds it more expedient to be the one holding it -- and occasionally it seems inappropriate for an emperor to hold his own umbrella, and of course it's up to Jade to protect Peony's dignity since Peony doesn't care.
who is the grumpiest in the morning
Jade is more sardonic than usual before he's had time to have some tea and be awake. Peony is more of a morning person. As usual, Jade doesn't faze him.
who worries more when the other is sick/hurt
Jade. Something happening to Peony is actually one of his nightmares, though he wouldn't be quick to admit it. He has tiny issues dealing with the impermanence of people he cares about... So he'd probably play it cool but secretly be more attentive than usual and worry over any downward turn. Peony's approach to Jade being sick is to joke about how it takes more than a cold to take down a monster, though he does get solicitous also.
who plays pranks on the other
This is Peony's life. If not pranks, just general trolling, a pasttime he and Jade share. But every now and then Jade needs to put him in his place...
who is always the first to suggest cuddling on the sofa
Peony. Jade is rarely even a willing participant in cuddling on the sofa and has to be bullied or coaxed into it. But Peony is a touchy kind of guy, so he puts up with it sometimes.

Peony, of course. Although he's not so much a "I'm going to call you Jadeykins" person so much as he's a "My cute little Jadeykins is being so good today! Jade, get your head out of your hands and give him a treat" person.

Neither especially. Peony on occasion.

Peony, absolutely. Whether or not Jade says it ever is up for debate. But Peony knows.
Allen and Himawari kyaa
Allen is a consummate gentleman so he would always attempt to hold the umbrella, but Himawari is adorable
and Allen might accidentally put out an eye or somethingagainso I bet she'd also want to do it and/or would bring her own. Himawari with an umbrella = A+ cutewho is the grumpiest in the morning
Is Himawari capable of grump? If so, it would be adorable grump, I'm sure. Allen can occasionally be a bit surly before he's had time to wake himself up in the morning but exercise/tea/8 tons of brunch always cures that.

Himawari, because it's probably her fault and she's miserable. Allen would have to reassure her! He'd take it more in stride if she was the one laid up, but he'd be a good caretaker.

Allen would never prank a cute girl. Only jerks and losers. On the other hand, Himawari might have a little fun with him, and the first time it happened he would be astonished.

Himawari, although Allen would pretty much always be up for that.

I can imagine Allen giving her a cute pet name or two when he was really, super comfortable, because otherwise he'd stay formal and dropping the "Miss" is already scandalous.

Probably Allen. He can sleep like a log. Himawari is not completely grossed out by it somehow.

...I think they might be in a contest to see who can say it last. If they actually got far enough to be in this imaginary relationship, though, I think... Allen might.

Excalibur. And it must be a proper umbrella with a hook handle to remind him of his cane. He wants the umbrella because he can poke people with it and he doesn't care if Flynn gets wet.

Flynn, because he has to wake up to Excalibur.

I am not sure anyone worries about anyone in this relationship. Flynn was somewhat concerned that Excalibur might be sick or something when he stopped appearing, though.

Excalibur is always the first to "suggest" anything, where "suggest" = "insist stridently, with name-calling".

Roxas is taller and Anya needs her hands free for photographs so it's occasionally him, but Anya also likes having her own umbrella, so they just as often have separate umbrellas.

Roxas is fairly zombielike at first in the morning, but they both even out by breakfast.

Roxas worries more openly, at least, but they're both extremely dedicated to the people they care about and so Anya is equally as concerned in her way.

I wouldn't really call either of them the pranking types... They are the kind of losers pranks are played off of, Anya for her straight man and Roxas for his cluelessness.

Anya is a homebody. She might not put it in exactly those terms but she'll be the one nestled on the couch, covered in 3-4 cats, ready for a comfortable evening, and Roxas will have to join her.

Shinwoo, because that's what boys do. Orihime provides the cuteness and adoration.

Orihime is bleary in the morning, but still quick to be in high spirits... I can picture Shinwoo being sort of grumpy at first.

Orihime is the queen of worrying. She might have to stay home to babysit. Prepare yourself for some soup that sounds weird but tastes good, Shinwoo.

Shockingly, I think not Orihime! I think that she'd be a little shy in a relationship to be the first one to say that just in case it makes things awkward. Shinwoo would have to manage some sort of shy, goofy confession, and then she would hurl herself at him.

Yuri and Judith
Judith doesn't even know why the man holding the umbrella would be a thing. She likes to hold the umbrella. Yuri is thoroughly ambivalent about the matter.

Yuri wakes up a little on the sour and sardonic side. He wouldn't admit it but he's somewhat miffed that Judith is as serene in the morning as at any other time even though she's practically an insomniac and is often up later than he is.

Neither of them are really worriers, though they both are secretly tender when it comes up. Yuri is more likely to be concerned - before Judith reassures him that it's just a scratch and she's had worse, anyway.

Judith is the more successful of them, at any rate. Yuri has trouble pulling one over on her. But why prank each other when they can combine forces and troll everyone else?

Yuri. They both play it cool most of the time so it can be like a game of chicken with these losers, but he knows that she genuinely doesn't do well with attachments to other people so there's no winning that game. So he takes it on himself to initiate.

Yuri insisted literally on their first meeting. He likes nicknames (coining Estelle, Captain for Karol, Ristelle for the joined-at-the-hip girls, etc) but he doesn't feel the need to give Judith nicknames other than "Judy".

No drooling. They are too awesome and pretty for that sort of nonsense.

It might take them a while to get there, but I think either of them could do it. Yuri would probably deliberately say it at an underwhelming moment, like, casually slip it into conversation over breakfast or something, but I think Judith would give it more weight because... it's a big deal for her to trust someone that much.

Allen is a gentleman and will always want to hold the umbrella for ladies, even Road, which might not go well with Asuka, they might end up holding separate umbrellas / he walks in the rain alone or something slkdjfls. He wouldn't want someone to have hold an umbrella for him but Naoya and Lavi are too tall for that nonsense and Jun would want to hold one for him too, so in those cases I think he'd relent. He holds the umbrella for Link, though.

Allen can be pretty surly in the morning before he's gotten his Mana mask thoroughly on. With that said, Link and Asuka are always grumpy so he can't take the crown from them. I suspect Road would enjoy needling Allen in the morning to make him grump harder.

Allen would be on high alert if any sweet girls were hurt, including Nill, Lacus, and Himawari, but they would all make a big deal over his injuries/illnesses in return, so I guess they're about even.
He would worry less about Road, Jun, Asuka, Lavi, and Naoya, but he would still be a little unhappy and try to make them feel better. Road would probably be all over him with excessive (exaggerated) fussing to the point where he would be sour about it so she would outworry him, and Asuka would be angry and tsun but still worried. Jun and Naoya would both pretty much mirror Allen's reaction: pretend to be normal, worry secretly.
Link he would ordinarily not worry overly about but in Marina he got a bit codependent.

Road wins this contest hands-down but otherwise the girls would have an edge on Allen (especially Lacus). Allen would definitely prank Link and would probably prank Lavi, Jun, and Naoya. Jun and Lavi would probably give back as good as they got.

Affectionate girls such as Nill, Lacus, and Himawari would be most likely to ask him. Allen might suggest it with Asuka and Road if they were in an established (non-coerced...) relationship and he would definitely ask with Link or Naoya because they are emotionally constipated. If very comfortable in the relationship he would also prod Jun and Lavi but I think Jun is more likely to suggest it there.

Allen only really nicknames people who piss him off, so he might end up giving one to Road, Naoya, Lavi, and Link. Lavi is also a nicknamer. I think Jun and Naoya have the potential to come up with an affectionate nickname, but I don't really see anyone else doing it, idk.

Allen might do this on occasion. I can see Lavi, Road, Nill, and maybe Asuka also doing this a little.

Allen is always reluctant to say this. Lacus and Nill would definitely tell him first. Road would tell him every twenty minutes. Link and Lavi would probably never tell him because of their respective issues. Jun I think would've gotten there first. Allen might manage to tell Asuka first.

Kairi does. Roxas would do it for her but she likes having the ability to flick water at him or leave him in the rain if she's miffed and he doesn't mind having her do it. He doesn't like carrying around excess stuff in general.

Kairi worries about Roxas, but he wouldn't know what to do if she got sick or injured in a way he couldn't fix with a cure spell, he'd fret and be useless.

Kairi initiates, mostly. Roxas is a good-natured prank recipient and laughs about it, and sometimes messes with her in return.

Kairi. She is not shy and she knows that he's a derp Nobody who needs to be told when it's time to sit down in front of the TV and cuddle.
