who holds the umbrella when it rains
Excalibur. And it must be a proper umbrella with a hook handle to remind him of his cane. He wants the umbrella because he can poke people with it and he doesn't care if Flynn gets wet.
who is the grumpiest in the morning
Flynn, because he has to wake up to Excalibur.
who worries more when the other is sick/hurt
I am not sure anyone worries about anyone in this relationship. Flynn was somewhat concerned that Excalibur might be sick or something when he stopped appearing, though.
who plays pranks on the other
...Flynn wishes he could prank Excalibur.

Excalibur is always the first to "suggest" anything, where "suggest" = "insist stridently, with name-calling".
who insists on creating nicknames for the other
Obviously Excalibur! He's already off to a good start with "street rat".

Mental image of Flynn sleeping curled around a sword and drooling on it and Excalibur poofing into appearance to wake him up indignantly.
