Apparently they... made the baby? You would know better than I would: is it possible for two shinigami to make the baby? o:

They sincerely do appear to have made the baby. It's -- questionable how that happened, because people in Soul Society are supposed to be... people who died in the human world... so how can there be babies who aren't from the human world... but then again, how can there be noble families if there aren't direct descendants? Not everyone can be as SCANDALOUS as Byakuya and adopt into the family.

So my assumption for a long time has actually been that while most of Soul Society is dead people, it isn't impossible for dead people to have kids in Soul Society, so noble families and RenRuki babies can exist.

I also want to see the original Japanese so I can verify whether their daughter's name is really Ichika. Because even if they named her with the same kanji as in Ichigo's name, kanji aren't always pronounced the same, and "Itsuka" is a perfectly normal name that would use that same kanji?

No worries! I was absolutely not keeping up on my own, but I'm glad to know how things turned out. I might go back to reading now that it won't keep outpacing me and/or I know there's shippiness to come, because I'm easy to please and my ships are everything. I've read the last two chapters in their entirety, just not -- any of the stuff between that and all the good guy Sternritters biting it.

I kind of want to do some Bleach coloring/icons, if I can find time between moving and finals week... But I still don't feel like I can color Orihime well. She just has so much hair.
