Rinkah insults Hinata's fighting style during practice, and so he just cheerfully recruits her to be his sparring partner. After an exhausting practice sesh they analyze each other's actions and strengths, and eventually Hinata suggests they fight with clubs instead because they've already done all they can with his best weapon, the sword.
