I don't think people livestream Nintendo 3DS without equipment and expensive/obnoxious jury rigging, so, screw that, even if I wanted to. I will update this post throughout playing on my commentary etc.

Then the opening CGI plays, because I got past the game intro.

After the fight, Lilith teleports everyone back to the dragon plane and introduces me to the fact that I get a ~*~castle~*~!! Now for the first time the game lets me off its prologue leash and I get to do stuff with my minions.

I don't like the fact that dudes determine the kids? It made sense to me that in FE:A, the mother determined who the child would be, the dad just contributed DNA -- I mean, that seems like it makes logical sense, inasmuch as the fact that the child will be the same regardless of one parent. The mother has the egg that becomes a baby once fertilized, the dad just... contributes DNA, so you can rationalize that the egg is the same when--

You know what, pondering this is too weird for me.

Anyway, I just felt like same mom -> same kid makes more sense than same dad -> same kid.

Puzzling things out. It seems slightly questionable that Corrin can go to her private quarters and then invite people to join her there, hanging out... next to her bed... But hey, you're the boss, Corrin! You do you! You have nothing to be ashamed of!

Some of the options have hearts next to them and some don't, but they don't seem to be based around marriageability, since one of her sisters has a heart and Jakob (a perfectly unrelated male) does not.

Super weird. It seems to just be ogling a more 3D sprite of the person you call over, and coincidentally raises your relationship. There's no real dialogue. I invited Kaze over, he said one thing, then there was the 3D sprite, then there was one more thing said (perhaps voice acted?), and then it was over. Their relationship improved, he "left in high spirits", and I can't call over another ally, so I guess it's one per visit.

I might have to load and do another.

I loaded and did another. That's what they are, all right! The same thing happens with characters who don't have a heart next to them, but they don't get the relationship bump.
