He assures her he doesn't want to worry about it, he's just glad they can be together again, and she feels a bit better, which makes him feel better. He suggests they go on a trip to see "someplace you always wanted to see".

Aww, she had a list of places she wanted to visit someday! Cute. He wants to take her to more of them, and she's up for it. No executions this time, probably.

Silas's list of places Corrin wants to visit is crazy long, to her astonishment, because she still remembers none of it, but Silas has etched every detail of their childhood into stone.

Corrin is baffled that Silas is, to all appearances, the best friend anyone's ever had in the universe, and yet she forgot his existence. What is up, universe?! Silas is exasperated that she's still thinking about that, and he suggests asking her retainers if they know the details. Then Corrin becomes nervous about what they might say.

Corrin has come to apologize to Silas. Apparently, talking to her servant(s) has revealed that she cried endlessly when he disappeared, and so her servants tried to distract her and make her forget about him, and they did a damn fine job.

She still feels guilty for forgetting, but Silas is pleased, because all of that angst really means that he genuinely was her bestest friend! He has no regrets about any of it. So let's just focus on today.

Which of the places on her list should they start at?

100/5, Silas really is the best friend anyone's ever had in the universe. I honestly am not sure how an S scene could ruin this because Silas has been S scening since the C scene. And in some of the supports he's had with other characters.

It is 100% possible! Assuming the S scene won't be excessively stupid. Sophie looks cute, Corrin could be her mom. (Poor Jakob's son looks like a goon.)

But I intend to see as many scenes as I can manage and I'm still missing like half the dudes in my party -- Ryoma and Takumi, and then the kitsune dude and the dude that I seriously thought was a butch lady until I saw this marriage chart, and then I guess there's some dudes that only Corrin can pair up with, I assume some of them will be in my party, probably. And Silas has had some cute interactions too, even if he's getting a little Cordelia up in here.

No one is ever off-limits. ...I guess especially so in this game, because I think there's 11 first gen bachelors and 11 first gen bachelorettes in each path, not counting Corrin. So everyone has to be paired up?? In FE:A I believe there were some extra DNA donors. If there aren't any extras in FE:F, then I will have to plan meticulously :|a :|a :|a

I chose Silas to hang out in Corrin's room ~~because no one I wanted to build up to a higher support level was hearting, like, whatever Hayato and Setsuna~~ and suddenly a thing popped up and a heart filled in and it was like "YOUR BOND HAS DEEPENED"

What?? What's that?? There's more to this than a random +1 to affection because you looked at their blushy face??

Silas is going to come straight out and say it, since there's no way to do it without being rude. What are you hiding? Why are you so mysterious? Out with it! ARE YOU A SPY.

Uh, let's say 3/5. I mean... at least he's obviously been paying a lot of attention to her, right?

Azura saw a monster sneak into Silas's tent, so she also sneaks into his tent and kills it. He thinks she must be attacking him in his sleep, but she was saving him instead! In his sleep! Because of the monster that snuck in! In his sleep! What a fortuitous turn of events.

Anyway, he feels a bit bad he got in her face when she saved him, and she's like, "I'm used to people misunderstanding me, w/e" and then leaves.

2/5, too silly

Mozu asks Silas if he thinks she should give up and go back to farming or whatevs, because she's no good at this stuff. Everyone else is a natural and improves so fast! Silas didn't realize she was so demoralized, but he is on the case. He will personally coach her, starting now.

In the logical continuation of the support scene I just saw, Setsuna is down a hole. She is shooting arrows to try and get someone's attention so she doesn't starve to death, and she has caught Silas's, by making him think he's being ambushed by the enemy. He helps her out of the pit and then informs her of the enemy attack that she admits to being just herself in an effort to escape the hunting trap she fell into.

Silas, at a loss, tells her she's odd, and she thanks him.

2/5, not the worst because Jakob is still the worst

Silas attempts to engage Rinkah in socialization instead of her usual lurking off to the side, but she rejects it, saying that she's only here to fight and she wants nothing else to do with anyone. "It's the law of my tribe."

He ponders that for a moment, then challenges her to a fight. It's a special kind of battle, a traditional Nohrian war game, called Predator. The predator, aka 'it', has to touch the prey. He demonstrates in case she doesn't know what touching is, and she turns bright red and tells him to take his hands off her. He ignores this. +1 shippiness

Silas, this srs bizns war game battle you're describing sounds a lot like a child's game called tag.

So... he touched you, so now it's your turn to chase him! He takes off and she chases him determinedly.

Rinkah is sulking because she couldn't catch Silas. He cheated. She wasn't ready. He tells her that he was just hiding nearby in the midst of a troop, and she rages about his cowardice!! We are going again!!

SILAS: Are you serious?
RINKAH: I hate losing.
RINKAH: So we're gonna go until I win.

5/5, life or death children's games

SILAS: You absolutely demolished me at Predator the other day. I'm impressed.
RINKAH: You got that right! Who's the best predator?
RINKAH: I am. It's me.

God, she's so cute when she doesn't realize she's proud to have won at a children's game

Silas points out that she got good at the game when she stopped doing the Flame Tribe "don't talk to outsiders" thing and started asking the people around for help finding him. When she realizes this was all a scheme to get her interacting with other people, she is MAD, but she admits that it worked, even people she hated turned out to not be so bad, and some of them she even liked.

Still... Occasional chats might be okay, but getting too involved might still be against the tribe law...

SILAS: Well, I'm always willing to lend an ear, if you need one.
[He leaves]
RINKAH: Thanks, Silas.
RINKAH: I hate to admit it... but I had fun.

Sakura is making distressed noises, which pings Silas's empathy radar. But when he asks, she stammers out something about having an impolite question to ask him. Silas is the soul of consideration, insisting that he won't judge, he won't be offended, don't forget to breathe, etc.

But she can't do it! She blurts an apology and runs for the hills

More distressed noises! Silas approaches this baby fawn slowly and quietly, and she finally manages to stammer out something about his "condition".

SILAS: My condition? I didn't know I had a condition.

He assures her that he is, like, super healthy, and frankly the closest thing I have to a tank, but she doesn't believe him. She wants to "examine" him. Silas looks as unsure about this request as I feel!

She says it's something about his head.

SILAS: Oh! Do you mean my hair?
SILAS: I know it sticks up more than hair should, but I didn't realize that was a condition.
SAKURA: No, it's not your hair!
SAKURA: I mean, yes, your cowlicks are unusually severe, but that's not what worries me.
SILAS: --wait. So we're agreed on the hair being a problem?

Sakura confirms with confusion that he seems healthy, and then realizes that he must be cursed. Someone has cursed his head! Oh no! She must take care of this immediately.

I deliberately paired these two together throughout the last battle because I wanted to see her glare at a Nohrian

Silas is out training when he notices Oboro off to the side. He genially invites her to join him, because he's heard great things about the Hoshidan style of swordplay and

OBORO: Pass.

Silas is taken aback by her glaring! She assures him that it's not personal. It's just that she hates every last Nohrian. Maybe if he turns out not to be the worst she'll relax a little. Silas concedes that this is valid, but then puts on his determined confident face and tells her they should spar anyway. Put that anger to good use!

OBORO: Nah. I'm so angry I'd probably kill you.
SILAS: ...
