Azura asks Kaze for a favor, and he is overwhelmed with gratitude that she's speaking to him, because literally every time they've ever spoken before it's because he had a message to deliver to her, loooool. He assures her that he doesn't take it personally because "I know you prefer to avoid people if you can help it."

Oh, it really was just a minor off-screen request! Azura had him send a carrier pigeon with some medicine to her sick nana. There's a petal inside the return envelope, and she starts to get emotional as soon as she sees it. She and her nana used to weave these flowers into flower crowns and...

To Kaze's alarm, she bursts into tears and sobs on him for a minute before collecting herself. Mortified to find that she's literally been crying on him, she flees.

Azura is still mortified about the B scene. She has a lot of happy memories with her Hoshidan nanny and she got a little emotional but she's fine now so WIPE IT FROM YOUR MEMORY

KAZE: The image of you crying, clutching at my sleeve, will be burned in my memory forever.
KAZE: I could not forget even if I tried.

I doubt you mean that to be shippy, Kaze, but it's kind of an intense way to phrase your mockery. Azura blushes and orders him to at least not tell anyone, and he blushes and says she'll have to be extra nice to him so he doesn't tell.

Stop being shippy, this was only a mediocre support thread. You're not in an S scene.

Anyway, Kaze renews his vow as a retainer to protect her (and her nana) and she's pleased.
