Kaze finds Sakura crying and although she tries to put him off, he insists on knowing what's wrong. She lost something, but doesn't want to tell him what, because it's embarrassing and he'll laugh...

KAZE: Do I look like the kind of man who would laugh at a lady in distress?

Mortified, Sakura explains that she lost a doll. Kaze is very gentle about it, observing that it must be a doll she's owned for a long time with lots of good memories. He promises to help her look for it.

As it turns out, Subaki took the doll to the tailor to get mended, hoping to surprise her. That's adorable. I should get the next Subaki and Sakura scene.

KAZE: Ha! Subaki is so neat and tidy, I bet that ripped seam drove him nuts!

So, anyway, are the rumors true and you can't actually sleep without this doll? Sakura denies this with GREAT agitation, but Kaze tells her genially not to be embarrassed because he finds it cute. I find that cute! Sakura is relieved OR WOULD BE IF SHE SLEPT WITH THE DOLL, WHICH SHE DOESN'T.

Kaze is masterful with things other people are embarrassed about, I'll tell you that much. 4/5
