Fire Emblem: Fates liveplay! (inactive)

Shut up.

I don't think people livestream Nintendo 3DS without equipment and expensive/obnoxious jury rigging, so, screw that, even if I wanted to. I will update this post throughout playing on my commentary etc.

Corrin asks Ryoma if he can fill her in on some of her life before she was kidnapped. He warns her that not all of them are good memories, but she's looking for an anchor for her missing past, not fluff. An anchor can be depressing! She wants to hear stories about when she grew up in Hoshido, and about her family. She includes Azura in the 'family' list, even though there is no way she can have any memories with Azura since they did not coexist in Hoshido...

Ryoma: I knew this was coming. I actually have something for you!
Corrin: Oh yeah? What is it?
Ryoma: ...nahhhh. I think it'll mean more if I give it to you in a later support scene.
Ryoma: Also, I have somewhere else to be, ARBITRARY END TO THIS CONVERSATION!

They have found time some indeterminate number of weeks later to pick up their conversation from the C support. So, stuff related to her childhood in Hoshido!

Hinoka was a crybaby as a kid, which we already knew. Azura was a little distant even as a childhood, and also still didn't live in Hoshido when Corrin did. There's some commentary on Takumi and Sakura as adults, which has nothing to do with Corrin's childhood. Somehow the topic has become "Ryoma's perspective on people".

Corrin: I'd still like to know about my past--
Ryoma: Wow, look at the time

Azura is attempting to carry some heavy boxes by herself, and Ryoma scolds her for never asking for help. She is too reluctant to bother people.

RYOMA: It's not a bother! I'd be glad to help you. I'm here for you anytime. Really.

Azura thanks him mildly and then immediately tells him to stop worrying about her and excuses herself. Ryoma has been trying to get her to warm up to him for ages, but clearly he needs a new strategy.

This time Azura wants to talk to Ryoma, because he's been talking smack about her behind her back and bitch, please. He attempts to explain that there was a misunderstanding, because he's definitely been talking about her behind her back, but it was just to ask people for advice on how he could get closer to her.

You know... in a siblingy way.

Anyway, Azura blushes and they apologize to each other with all of the awkwardness.

Azura: Just do me a favor. Stop fussing over me. Fuss over Corrin.
Ryoma: wait wtf does Corrin have to do with anything

She appreciates him making her feel welcome, but Corrin is his real family, so now that she's around Ryoma should be making her feel welcome instead of hanging out with some weird fake sister he grew up with.

RYOMA: Azura, wait!
RYOMA: ...is that why she's been avoiding me?

Ryoma just calls his name and Saizo is there, like magic. "I am never far, my lord." They both speak very formally to one another. Ryoma wants to know if Saizo has ever had second thoughts about his destiny of being The Saizo.

Saizo: Nope.
Ryoma: Oh, okay. Cool, then.

So Ryoma just wants to say hey to Kagero and thank her for being so hard-working and stuff. Is there anything he can do for her?

Spartan ninja types don't know how to deal with generosity and don't want a lot of physical junk to hold them down, man. Also, she just doesn't feel like she's done anything worth rewarding? She was just doing her job.

But Ryoma insists. He orders her to come up with something, and informs her that he will ask about it every time he sees her until she comes up with something. Ninja stress headache!!
