Rinkah insults Jakob, who excuses himself with great dignity and then proceeds to annoy the hell out of her in the future. She is on the verge of flipping out, but he pacifies her with delicious tea and tells her to learn to control her temper. He assumes that all the annoying people around (himself included) are a hassle for her since her tribe shuns interaction, but she disagrees, saying that solitude is preferable to, like, small talk. But deeper friendships are fine. They end up sort of mutually impressed with each other. 3/5


Let's make this stupid... S-rank stupid. Rinkah asks Jakob if he has feelings for any women in camp and he admits that there is one, but he assumed that she was too aloof to be into him. He admires her strength and her fierce independence. Rinkah knowingly suggests that he should tell this woman, because she would probably be flattered. He returns the question, then. Is there a man you like? Does he maybe make delicious tea? Should he become a member of the Flame Tribe so you can get married some day? Rinkah is annoyed that they came to an understanding without letting her actually say it out loud. SHUT UP. SHE LOVES YOU, ASSHOLE. DON'T JOIN THE FLAME TRIBE. SHE WILL PROPOSE TO YOU REGARDLESS. BUT YOU'D BETTER TREAT HER RIGHT. Support: Whoa! We really leapt to marriage, as usual, but that was surprisingly good characterization for an S-rank scene.
