Come one, come all!

Okay, so, here goes game talk. If you roleplay, read ahead and see if you're interested.

In this game, you would play as either an aristocrat or a wealthy resident of the city where the game will mostly take place, during the Victorian era full of its sexual and societal repression. We're going for a sort of stereotype court setting, where the nobles mingle amongst themselves in their own little bubble apart from the rest of the world except in rumors. Secretly in the underside of this bubble is a clique of people, a "club" shall we say, who have rather alternative interests in companionship... They can be identified in public by the simple bracelets they wear, with a geranium flower at their wrists.

A geranium, in the language of flowers, means "preference".

The theme of this game is rather drama-oriented, of course; romance and secrecy prevail. Very little historical knowledge will be necessary to play, just the ability to fake it decently! You may play a male or female character, most of whom will be homosexual, but some players may be spouses or siblings of those who are interested in the "club", the better to drama you with later!

In this game, you would play as an employee of a multinational corporation at discreet corporate war with several other huge multinational corporations. Your company is unrepenetantly unscrupulous; totally devoid of morals as any fool can tell, but somehow always just inside the law. Most of the people who work there are evil or without qualms themselves, but a few innocents and good people were hired also -- by accident because they seemed like they might fit the company description, or on purpose because they were the only applicants in the job pool with the necessary abilities, or because of those damned equal-opportunity employment laws.

The evil employees and the good employees are sort of at cross-ends, both trying to thwart the other without stepping so far out of line as to be fired. But the companies in question are more than they seem also.

The theme of this game is more fun-oriented, mostly enjoying the opportunity to play around with morality and inter-office relations. Imagine it as your typical office TV show, like Sports Night or Just Shoot Me, only with evil! Your characters can be of either bad or good alignment, to encourage character in-fighting. XD The top CEO positions are reserved, but you can ask for any other corporate position you want to molest.

Anyone interested in either or both? I'm probably going to start recruitment here.

Aw, man. My brain tingles at the thought of The Victorian Game, but I haven't RPGed in any form in so long that I would prbably be a horrible player. I think I've lost the whatever for it, but my brain is still all "ooh! ohh!" and trying to create a character. So I'm really only commenting to vent my mild frustration at you.

Now I go away and tell my brain to shut up.
