Cunning Plan

Thanks to positive-minded people, I am no longer actively depressed. With that burden off my mind, Lute and I put our heads together.

We have devised a cunning plan.

I will finish my perfectly innocent Jubei/Kadsuki slash fic. Once I am reasonably certain that it does not suck -- I shall have to seek no fewer than four opinions on this beforehand, which means I'll have to stretch beyond my usual beta-readers: I'm starting to suspect their judgment -- I shall post it to the GetBackers community. If there is a God, they will like it.

And then, once I have their trust, I will inflict the heterosexuality upon them!

Bwahaha.

Now, having come up with a cunning plan, I will endeavor to write more of the Jubei/Kadsuki fic before my Muse outlasts my body, and then I will collapse into bed curled in a little ball to endure great pain and nausea.

Ack! I look the quickest glance at the lj GetBackers community-- just a very brief little look-over at some of the better fanpics, and I saw, not one, but TWO horrible icons!

There was an "UkeXUke" MAKUBEX/Ginji icon AND a Akabane/Ginji icon...

Perhaps I'm being paranoid and the Akabane/Ginji one was a joke (I pray it was), but... MAKUBEX/Ginji... *wail-like* it hurt my eyes!

*upset* Why do people do this? I don't get it... You say you've TOLD these people that, "Yeah, if you look at it any way you want to, it's still pretty obvious Shido and MAKUBEX are straight, and Akabane's one and true love is killing people," and they STILL don't agree?

It's great that you are writing these MAKUBEX/Sakura and Shido/Madoka ficlets. In fact, I poke you to write them-- I would pay a pretty fair price to read them. No, seriously, MAKUBEX/Sakura I prefer to Ban/Ginji, even. So I beseech you; write such happy things! And post them all over! If the community shuns your stuff, I'll start using a livejournal just to ARGUE that you're right, and they're just overreacting. 'Cause you are, neh?
