Possibility

It might be that a recent immersion in Vagrant Story, along with other assorted items like Tales of Symphonia (which is surprisingly evil when you really think about the details), is causing this feeling that I should be darker. Because it's not like Vagrant Story is the darkest mindfuckiest game ever that features the mostly-naked male ass or anything.

I think CoI is dark enough with... with... the EVIL of the poison and aaaah. T_T

My definition is awkward. ^^ I'm not using dark in the sense of an action or an event: Kelvin poisoning Eric is certainly a dark, dark moment. But I'm thinking about a dark MOOD, something that if I were to write a book should be felt consistently throughout the story. But COI is fluffy almost constantly. The writing just doesn't convey a dark mood.

And I don't WANT it to: Daniel's story is perfect right as it is. But I can't write dark, and I feel that it bears more significance than the random mood-less things I write now. So... yeah. ^^;
