Also, Gabriel is the lamest angel ever
Reading "To Reign in Hell", as recommended to me by
anoma, and it's an excellent book, but I want to kill everyone in it. Starting with Abdiel and ending with Mephistopholes, but Yaweh is in there too.
It seems ridiculous to me that Abdiel should be able to say to him, to Yaweh the all-loving who doesn't comprehend hate or anger, "Satan hates you," and bam, Satan hates me, oh woe! "Lucifer did not show up today, he must hate me too!" "Everyone is against me!" What the fuck? Their problems are about the same doubts that you're having problems with, why don't you just say, "Clearly this plan is not working if it brings such strife," and abandon it instead of insisting that they're all traitors turning against you when you still have those doubts?
So I want to kill everyone. *reads*

(This is also what I said when I heard about my sister-in-law's allusion to Dante in her naming scheme.)

I originally found it due to Roger Zelazny's recommendation in an old interview along with the fact that he did the introduction, but in the end was left with a big "eh" feeling.
