Way to remind us brood-mares -- I mean, women -- of our place

Before you worry about your local laws regarding gay marriage or sexual conduct, worry about this. (maladaptive love. *cling*)

Considering this flagrant attempt to breach the very concept of human decency, I think it's only too possible that we may simply need to completely wipe out the previous generations of politicians, say anyone with more than 10 years of government or legislative experience, and start anew.

*JUST woke up* Figures it'd be in Virginia x___o. Our state's laws are insanely behind the times (and often, they even set us back a little further!). And, like, the liberal areas of the state ALWAYS end up being outvoted by the conservative ones... so I wouldn't be at all suprised if this passed (though I KNOW our governor will try to veto it; however, that really doesn't mean anything because he can be overridden like he was on the anti-gay bill o_O). And I'm sure NOW will have something to say about this~

*shakes head* Yet another reason to hate Virginia. A good majority of us are morons and shouldn't be allowed to vote x__o We need some sort of voter screening process, yo. Or just killing all but the Virginia delegates & representatives from Arlington and Alexandria would work too temporarily o__O Ooo! I think I should become dictator of the state! MY Virginia wouldn't suck so hard ^___^

But... that won't be happening. Thank god I'm moving to DC in August. The land of 9% Bush, 91% Kerry *happy sigh*.

I didn't want to believe it of anybody... O_o I want to follow this case because I sincerely don't understand how a human being can look at this and think that this is the sort of law required to maintain a healthy society. This is WAY away from gender equality. If a FARM animal miscarries, at least she doesn't have to tell the farmer herself. O_o This law suggests that animals will literally be treated with more dignity than human women.

Way to set back gender equality CENTURIES -- and yet, it's that SPECIAL sort of humane retrograde that can only be done in modern times by modern assholes.
