I hate to be cliche but I kinda want a gold~

On a brighter note, I joined a Dragonriders of Pern RPG and I don't know why, except that [livejournal.com profile] maladaptive MADE ME. *glare*

Heh, I'm sorry to hear you lost a lot of RP opportunities. XD Given as that's what the game is for, it's sort of worth noting. How does playing gold affect your characters and interactions? I'm still in the phase where I'm looking for possibilities everywhere in each aspect of the game, but I can see those possibilities for non-Impression as much as gold rider. I have all these plots that could be interesting hovering at the back of my mind...

Hi, I'm Kay and I babble. Thank you for your welcome, I look forward to playing with you!

There are possibilities for all chars but I found gold limiting initially as it meant that as a weyrling Kira was separated from the others right away - she got her own weyr, so there was nothing in the weyrling barracks, and because she was separated by rank it affected her interactions. Also her training was to a large degree separate. It also seems that other chars see her as beyond them in some way. If it wasn't for Sammers and K'dan, and Cyvarel, who was Kira's friend before she Impressed, I think she'd have been very lonely. Actually, that was the coolest part of Morlevan for me, that initial relationship building as a candidate. Kira was my first char and Morlevan was the first place I seriously wrote at.
