In first news, Simmons accepted me yay! In other news, Simmons did not tell me if they were giving me money. And money is important.

And additionally, we paid $15 so that the GRE people would give me my scores again.

Verbal: 610 out of 800 (85th percentile)
Math: 680 out of 800 (64th percentile)

What really boggles my mind there is that I scored so much better on the math. But I did score higher than most of the takers on the verbal, so...

Written: 3.5 out of 6 (thanks mozzarella!) (17th percentile)

...isn't 17th percentile really low? I'm so confused. I wrote good essays, I know I did.

Three scores are reported on the General Test:

1. a verbal score reported on a 200-800 score scale, in 10-point increments
2. a quantitative score reported on a 200-800 score scale, in 10-point increments, and
3. an analytical writing score reported on a 0-6 score scale, in half-point increments
