Hahaha, *snore*

My mother's on vacation this week and
every
single
day
she has woken me up at 9:30am just because she feels like it.

"So did you fill out your forms from yesterday?" YES.
"How's the room search going?" FINE.
"When did you have that appointment?" IN SIX HOURS.
"Do you want to watch a movie?" NO.

"The reason you don't have an apartment yet is because you wait until so late in the day to start looking!"
Yeah, that's right. The lucky people are all calling the sellers at 5:45am when they get out of their crack-of-dawn shower. That'll go over well. Have you ever heard of email?

"You need to get serious about this."
Well, it's hard, since I now have to split my time between apartment searching and a JOB AT KING KULLEN SLICING DELI MEAT *AGAIN* that I hope to keep for MAYBE AS MUCH AS TWO WEEKS.

"Get up! Get up! It's time for both of you to get up! It's 9:30 and I'm awake and so everyone else has to be awake too! Hahaha."
That's her idea of humor, but for me, it's murder incentive.

I hope she never gets a vacation again.

Okay, I get up early in the morning ... mostly because the kid doesn't and it's nice to have a little time to talk like an adult and not trip over toys or have to drag the demonspawn out of the toilet ... but if I'm ever that annoying to my poor children when they get older, I want you to slap me, okay?
And yeah, 'I'm up so everyone else has to be' is faulty logic, especially if she's ever used 'if so and so jumped off a bridge, would you jump off too'?
