Bitching and Fangirling all at once

I pre-ordered the Lost DVD set because zomg and I demanded first-day shipping.

For the second time in two weeks, UPS failed to deliver a package to me. There's a sign next to our doorbell that says "ring 4-5 times," because our doorbell is broken and doesn't ring every time. I left the door to our apartment open.

I was home all day.

He rang, thought I wasn't home, left a message. I paid $12 for first-day shipping. They're gonna tell me because of their idiocy, I can't have the service I paid you for? I WAS HERE, THERE WAS A SIGN ON THE DOOR. I called UPS and yelled at them for an hour. Finally they told me that if I wanted what I paid for, I'd have to hike to Dunkin Donuts and meet the driver on his lunch break. An hour of my life wasted.

But I have my Lost DVDs. The roomies and I are watching Walkabout. *heart* They're crazy about it. We'll watch it together on the new season. With Alex. ALEX. YOU, ME, OUR LAPTOPS, THE SEASON PREMIERE.

I have an idea in mind for a Walt fanfic. It's gonna be awesome.

In other news, Advent Children is out.

♥ The DVDs are so great, but I haven't had time to watch anything but the beginning of the pilot (Windows Media SPAZZED on me and interrupted me wtf x_x) and, duh, Hearts and Minds (plus commentary, yes. XD).

Advent Children is the new Final Fantasy 7 movie that Squeenix has put out in order to rape our nostalgia for cash. If you like FF7 it's pretty to watch and features cameos by every popular character, even the dead ones. Apparently getting a nuclear weapon in the face just makes you need a haircut.

Reading your commentary on AC amused me to no end. I'll get around to watching it eventually, since I have it downloaded, but I'm just glad I wasn't expecting it to be... good. XD Just as long as it's pretty. I'm pleased to hear there's actual humor in it, so it's not just FF7's emo lovechild or something.
