Glee~~

No one will take me up on this bet!! C'mon, people.

...whaddaya wanna bet that if when the Democrats win Virginia, and the Senate, as well as the House and life in general... the Republicans demand a recount? :3

It'll be like 2000 all over again only with more added hypocrisy!

Sorry Republicans.

If you voted, post here to get kisses. ♥

CAN I HAVE MY KISSES

And yes, I'll bet that will happen. I BET YOU TEN MUNNY
ext_52683: (Default)

*chuu!* For Alba

[identity profile] kay-willow.livejournal.com 2006-11-08 08:00 am (UTC)(link)
O, okay, but I also bet it will happen. D: And I don't have any munny.

Kisses!

He shows the Superior the scrying pool that he had IX make especially for this purpose; perfectly round and smooth, like a lake of glass and not a deep cylindrical well of water untainted by life. Xemnas says, "With this mirror, you can see the future?"

"I can, Superior," he says.

And so the other man considers, and he smiles slowly, a cool and beautiful thing to witness, and he says, "Give me the mandate of Heaven."

Saix smiles to hear it, and he sinks to his knees, and closes his eyes to see.

One of the party guests stood suddenly, upsetting the tray I held; he walked away with only a sharp word of remonstrance, but a hand helped steady my burden. An older boy, all long oiled limbs and arrowed flame hair and a slender teardrop tattoo below each eye. He had been dancing earlier, and with a guest after. I had seen him -- how could I not?

"You seem dissatisfied," he said, taking in the gold paint of the Dahlia sigil on my forehead before meeting my eyes. Surely then he saw the way my gaze flickered to the crass revels. His smile widened. "How can something they enjoy be objectionable?" he said, and waited, as if smoldering.

"That is the motto of your House," I told him flatly, drawing back. "Thank you for your assistance."

Still, later, I would look over at him and see him; and he would look up, and smile with all his teeth, before bowing his head to his companion's ear.

I demand kisses! ...or at least request them. I got up at 6:30 am to go vote, on a day when I didn't have to go to school or ANYTHING. (Mainly on account of I didn't want to sleep through the voting box being open, I admit.)

Also, I won't take that sucker bet, not after the phone calls crap.

Kiss for Yasha!

You're a hero!

Marluxia tells stories, and really, he's a much better story-teller than she is. He weaves fairytale castles and knights in shining armor with keys and toys for swords, and a treacherous princess who deceives him, and Larxene watches, admiring, as Namine is reduced to despair.

Instead of trying to echo that, Larxene tells her about themselves; you're broken, you're nothing, I like it when you flinch.

She likes these stories because she has to touch Namine to tell them -- and, as she tells Marluxia at night when they're alone, the girl has the sweetest skin, like the cream she used to lay out for cats.

I couldn't because they took too long to send me my registration and I couldn't get an absentee ballot in in time. BUT I HAVE BEEN WATCHING THIS THING RELIGIOUSLY.

Oooh, ouch, I know that feeling. Happened when I was eighteen--but the worst of it was that I didn't find out until I showed up to actually vote. (Fortunately, it was a primary, NOT the presidential that was a few months away then.)

Aww, lame. ;_; BUT NOT AS LAME AS VIRGINIA (and Montana). Consolation hug!

Kyoko sat on the shoulder of the Pro-Ing, digging into its circuitry with thickly-gloved hands. There was a whisper of something, a distraction. She brushed it away irritably, and tossed her hair back, out of her eyes.

It didn't matter. Making sure Aracd won mattered.

She fine-tuned the machine. She fine-tuned the machine. She fine-tuned the machine.

So it could only be his fault when he lost.

I voted!! I walked a mile in the rain and coldish weather in bad shoes to get to the voting place! *dramatic sniffle* The things I do for my nation...

And a recount in Virginia is almost certain. I like, though, that Webb managed to squeak into the lead after I went to bed. :D

Did you watch the Stewart & Colbert broadcast? Colbert's flip-out was hysterical. XD

[identity profile] kay-willow.livejournal.com 2006-11-08 08:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Montana was officially called for the Democrats. Virginia's pending whiny bastard recounts. :O Gosh, why can't they just accept that the Senate's ours mwahaha?

"YOU RUINED IT, AMERICA."

Kisses!

Hooves pounded against the hard ground, fast like the wild beat of her heart. She rode tensely, feet hooked hard into the stirrups and posed as if she had sped on horseback all her life, born and bred there, even though she never had and never would be.

From behind her came the shouts of men, and she jabbed her heel sharply against the horse's side, prompting him faster, faster until he couldn't even feel her weight and she was almost flying.

The arrow hit her in the shoulder, and then she really was flying.

Murata doesn't remember much from the lives that ended poorly; there is a certain point, when all that is left is pain and death, when there is nothing left to learn.

Although... he still rather likes the silk cloth the shrine maidens wear.

Stupid Lieberman~!

K♥I♥S♥S

He gave his partner a rather long and pointed look, before finally saying, "Such would be cheating."

Axel rolled his eyes and cast down his cards, then leaned back in his seat, hooking a leg over his knee. "But why not? You gamble, you can manipulate time. It seems like there's a clearly profitable crossroads there, my friend."

Luxord was not fooled by pretty words. He thought about explaining to Axel about the tangling threads of futures, thought about explaining the skein of frozen time, thought about telling him that the game is the ends, not the means.

A man needed his secrets. "Royal flush," he said instead. "Nice hand." He flicked Axel his chip, and the redhead snatched it, like the dart of a viper.

[identity profile] v-voltaire.livejournal.com 2006-11-09 02:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow, a kiss and a story! I am a lucky girl.

Ah, Luxord. Noone understands the trousers of time.

the game is the ends, not the means.

Yes, yes, this exactly!

Have you still not played KH2??
Yaaay, Ohio wasn't stupid this year. ♥

*mwah ♥*

When he got back to the room, Tsuzuki was already there, asleep and oblivious and evidently having good dreams; he squirmed all around, hugging his pillow, and Hisoka would almost think him awake and playful if he weren't quite familiar with Tsuzuki's ability to be playful even in his sleep.

Nowadays when they wound up staying in a room with only one bed, Tsuzuki took the floor.

Hisoka pulled off his sweatshirt, glancing at him nervously, just to make sure. The brunet muttered something blissful about apple pie while Hisoka changed and slipped under the covers of his own bed.

For a little he watched Tsuzuki and his death-grip cuddling of the pillow; and when he dreamed, he dreamed about being able to touch.

:O! Fic!kisses are even better! <333333 It was so sweet and slightly angsty and ooooh~ BEST USE FOR DEMOCRACY EVAH.

I have still not played KH2. I think by this point, it'd be more fun to figure out everything that happens just by fanishness. So far my summary is thus:

Axel and Roxas have LOTS of sex. Then Roxas goes away and we're sad.

I know, for ONCE Ohio wasn't stupid. ;_; I would have totally seceded from the state if Blackwell were elected governor. SERIOUSLY. But yay, not losing hope in humanity!

[identity profile] kay-willow.livejournal.com 2006-11-09 03:04 am (UTC)(link)
You will continue to not know how true that is until you play the game.

Seriously. ;_; It makes me sad you haven't played it.

[identity profile] sakusha.livejournal.com 2006-11-09 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
Aww, I don't want to make you sad! I wish there were a version so you could buy it and play it in Japanese or English 'cause I want both voices... ;_;

Also, I've never mentioned this when on AIM or anything, because I'm shy and a dork, but can I just say I love you for how unbelievably sweet and patient you were with me when I was in high school and a hell of a lot more of a mess emotionally/socially than I am now? Because HOLY SHIT, I like practically made you my psychiatrist and you were seriously awesome. I mean, you still are, of course. But wow. Thank you so very much for being so amazingly kind and helpful to me.

[identity profile] kay-willow.livejournal.com 2006-11-10 08:03 am (UTC)(link)
In the future you can buy Kingdom Hearts Re:Chained, which is the Playstation 2 Chain of Memories remake...! Nomura said he wants the NA port to be Japanese voices with English subtitles, so we can hear what the Japanese voices are like. ♥

But you should finish KH1. *wants to fangirl witchoo D: *

And it's totally okay, of course. ♥ I think I may have mentioned it to you once, I know I told [livejournal.com profile] libekory -- I think in the tail end of grade school, people go through a Long Dark Time. I went through this utter listless desolation where I couldn't write anything for about two years. I've seen other people do it too. It's like, two years between 15-19 years old.

And then after a while at college, you just... get better.

So I knew what it was like, and I was more than willing to listen and to hug. I'm glad you came out feeling so much better and I love you too. ♥

[identity profile] sakusha.livejournal.com 2006-11-15 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
Yay~~~ Japanese voices are love. And so is.... not having to buy a DS to play Chain of Memories. XDDD

I've seen the end - Abby showed me the last battle and then the ending, but I haven't played that far yet. I still can't get the freaking last postcard in Traverse Town and it makes me irritated. ;_; Buuuuuut, other than that I think I can do the Hercules Cup? I probably should to work on my fighting ability/depth perception. XD I just beat Neverland (and made sure to get the puppies in the clock tower!). I looooooooved flying. <333 And so.... and so... yes. I'm pretty far! :O But yes, I have missed our fangirling.

♥ Love you~~~~ ♥

They won't? *boggle* But you're one of the relatively few people in this country who SHOULD be allowed to vote.

Consolation hug!

He came home tired, shedding his jacket like snakeskin, which it was. Kicked his shoes under the couch and wrestled the tie out of his hair. He thought about maybe just grabbing something to eat that wasn't ethnic, something light and simple like a fruit, and going up to bed and just falling onto it and maybe watching TV.

There was a small, hand-written note on the table. He bit into the apple and picked it up. He recognized that writing.

Interested in a treasure hunt?

Slowly, Tieunis smiled.

Buuut totally worth it! In 2008 we'll go together. ♥

He was a little confused, she was kissing his neck, she was nibbling his ear; she was in front of him and his hands were on her waist, holding her near, and she was behind him, with auburn hair falling just into the line of his vision.

"Kairi?" he murmured, his voice hoarse, far hoarser than it should have been except for the way her leg was between his, dangerously close to where all the heat in his body seemed to have pooled.

Kairi smiled, but it was strangely sad. Had Kairi smiled like that before? "Yes, Sora," she murmured, blonde hair trailing over her shoulder. "I'm here. Just like you want."

But this isn't what I want, he thought for a fuzzy moment, and then her lips found his and the brunette Kairi behind him slipped her hands into his shirt, and he forgot all about Kairi.

He woke up thinking, wait. There had been another girl on the islands, hadn't there?

Traveling in the center of a squadron of Papal Knights marching double-time was definitely not the way to tour the world. Zelos spent the hours singing slave songs and making loud inflammatory observations, which the Papal Knights ignored solidly. If they didn't have to take off their armor to sleep, revealing actual humans underneath, Zelos might have assumed they were some new inventions of Altessa's, mobile yet lifeless suits of armor. When they reached towns, they hardly allowed him to spy a skirt, and seemed to be doing their utmost to keep him from talking to the women in them. They boarded a ship to cross to Sybak and they kept him under the deck the whole time. He informed them it was the worst cruise he had ever been on. They did not seem interested in redeeming themselves.

He had been to the seal of earth already and now he seemed to have wings, fiery orange-red things that curled from his back. He wondered wistfully if women would like them but he had no way of knowing. It had been twenty-four hours since he had bothered trying to eat and the knights hadn't bothered ordering food for him on the ship.

Zelos was terrified.

Foreword: Rill, for today, represents the Democratic Party. Zero is the GOP.

I voted Democrat across the board (Not that I'm crazy about all of them, but I'm a realist. =P).
I'm literally astounded by the number of states with a 5% or less difference between the victorious party and the runner-up. `.`

Ahnuld is excused from my general Repube-contempt, because I think he could have campaigned in a tutu, kissing Michael Jackson, and still won.

Besides, why lament over one Repube landslide when we can instead rejoice that Rumsfeld and Santorum are gone? :D Par-tay!

[identity profile] kay-willow.livejournal.com 2006-11-09 12:00 am (UTC)(link)
Who's lamenting? :D

"I don't understand why you're so mean," he said, sulking.

Rill exhaled. "I don't understand why you're such a dumbass," she told him on the haze of smoke.

Zero bristled, but she raised a fist menacingly and he quieted, glaring at her. She went about her work, watching the screens that monitored his body. She murmured something under her breath that sounded -- gentle, wondering, maybe, different. He craned his neck to see for himself.

She smacked the side of his head. "I told you to stay put. By the white one, your ears look pretty healthy. I'll tell you when you can move."

Zero sighed and flopped onto his back and closed his eyes against the blue light of the lab.

Oooh, I like the drabble you did for Double! Kay writing is ♥

If I was American, I'm sure I would have voted (and for Democrats, too ^^). I did apply for a postal vote yesterday for my State Election back home that's on at the end of November. Though, that's hardly very noble, since I would be fined if I didn't vote or forgot to vote.
