Complaint Description:
Every month for the last 13 months, I have received charges for $8.99 on my credit card from TLG*Netmarket. I have attempted to cancel with them at least twice, possibly three times, although I believe the first time to be very early on and I did not get a cancellation number. In March I called them to demand a cancellation and a refund for this monthly "purchase" that I have never made and did not want. I was _promised a refund_ and given a cancellation number: ########. Now, in June, I have checked to discover that instead of a refund, they have charged me twice more (April, May) for $8.99, bringing the total up to 13 months at $8.99, for a total of $116.87 stolen from my credit card. I called again to cancel and spoke with a manager, and was informed that they _would not give me the refund_ that I had been promised, and might be reimbursed for up to three months -- two of which I should not have been charged for in the _first_ place. My new cancellation number is ########.

Your Desired Resolution:
I want the full refund that I was promised by the representative I spoke to in March. At the time, this refund was $98.89. Now after the two months of fraudulent charges, the refund is $116.87.

I don't know if this specific situation relates to you, however I found a journal that speaks of a very similar situation.

It can be found here: http://matt.baya.net/identity-theft/

Check and see if you have any charges from blockbuster online or have used a free credit report service in the past.

My fingers are crossed for you. Good luck!

I found your livejournal doing a google search for tlg*netmarket. I was also recently scammed by them. I immediately notified my credit card company that I thought this was a fraudulent charge and they very quickly credited my account, canceled it and issued a new number. There are *many* others who have been scammed by this company.

Good luck,
