I'm a stat whore -- one Aizen, plz
I have a Bleach crack OTP, and now that I have conceived of it (the first person ever, I can almost guarantee it) I can't get it out of my head. I'm going to have to write it.
Hint: Kira is in it. :D
Also, this intrigues me. (Official, btw.)
Now, these stats are not relative. They're actually all only relevant to each character -- e.g., the fact that Unohana is 90 fitness and Aizen is 80 doesn't mean she's more in shape than him. It means that she's at 90% of her maximum fitness, and he's at 80%. So it doesn't give you an idea of how they are comparatively -- but I still had some thoughts based on the numbers. XD
1) Aizen and Yamamoto are tied in pure numbers. Fire vs water! The old vs the new! The reigning champ vs-- oops, he was fighting an illusion, dead now.
2) Soifon is... retarded. And doesn't like kidou either, although that doesn't surprise me.
3) Gin is perfectly even. On everything. Same number. It suits him. XD
4) Unohana looks so awesome just looking at this. Like if she'd challenged Aizen to an arm-wrestling contest the series would be over.
5) With numbers like those, no wonder Aizen was sick of limitations. He's maxed out so many of his stats he now has nothing to do. :(
6) I confess that all I did here was look to see whose numbers were better than his.
7) Komamura is a wall, unless, um, you have illusions.
8) Kyouraku is awesome, as expected. He and Ukitake are almost perfectly matched, except for where Ukitake suffers because he has, um, an untreatable debilitating illness. For centuries.
9) I'm a little surprised Tousen isn't awesomer.Someone suggested that his health is so low because he is blind and must constantly be bumping into things. I eat that person.
10) Hitsugaya is as kick-ass as you'd expect him to be, from the way everyone talks about him -- boy genius, reincarnation of a guardian spirit, etc. (I am interested though, because it was indicated by Showlong that because he's so young, he has a lot more potential -- maybe this is his current state, and his potential is still increasing?)
11) Soifon is slightly less retarded than Kenpachi. Also, kidou = 0. XD He'd totally kick ass in the numbers as well as physically if those other captains didn't rely on sissy magic and smarts or whatever you call them.
12) Someone said this, and it strikes me as true: Mayuri is that Pokemon with the debilitating poison/confusion that kills other Pokemon without being awesome.
13) Poor Captain Tuberculosis! Ukitake is kickass when he isn't busy being crippled by coughing fits and poor health.
I want him to do this for the lieutenants too plz. D:

Repeating some here for the potential benefit of passersby!1/5: It's also interesting to remember that Yamamoto is over 2000 years old by some amount, where Aizen has probably only been a captain for -- at most -- 200 years. (I mean, it took Renji 40 years to go from being a student to being a lieutenant [although we know Kira and Hinamori were already lieutenants themselves at that point], so factoring that in as a kind of rough average, and knowing that Aizen was a lieutenant when Tousen was a student, maybe like...150 years? A little less?)
Point of all of this is, when did Yamamoto reach his maximum in five of his six stats -- how long did it take him? Has Aizen reached his much faster? You have to wonder~
3. I'm going to have to stop assuming he's less interested in kidou than anything else now. I'd sure like to see him use some of it, with the exception of whatever it was that let him transport himself and Aizen to the hilltop. (I'm thinking more device than kidou here, though, it looked like he set off something -- an invention of Aizen's, or maybe something ELSE of Urahara's that was stolen.) But it really does suit him. No one else is so perfectly, eerily even.
And while I can't prove it without knowing how the numbers compare, I'd just like to say, Gin clearly isn't using all of his brain for cleverness and subterfuge if he's only at 80% of his potential. So, fangirls who think he's way smarter than Aizen and tricking the guy-- just. shut up, kthnx?4. X3
5. Where's the expansion pack. D: He needs to reach level 70 now~ (Maybe when he knows all there is to know about the Hougyoku.)
6. In no way am I surprised Byakuya's fitness is so relatively low; the man doesn't look like he's ever done anything to make himself sweat.
Err.7. He IS a wall! Jeez. Also, I appreciate that his intelligence isn't totally dismal. Naive, maybe, but then, everyone was fooled by Tousen, weren't they.
8. How can Kyouraku be at 90% of his intelligence potential when he's eating poisonous weeds-- oh right, it's relative!
9. My response to that stupid person: Why would you need to lift waits when your zanpakutou comes equipped with ability "pwn'd"? Seriously, like Yumichika, Tousen doesn't really HAVE to work on any other skills; the ones he's developed, he did so because he just wanted to. (Aizen is the same, but of course, Aizen is also a perfectionist grinding levels 24/7.)
10. The really scary thing here is thinking that the child genius is only at 80% of his potential for intelligence.
11. No points for his totally unconscious, uncontrollable reiatsu then? Heh.
12. Dismal strength and mobility. I figure, this guy is one of the easiest captains to beat, but maybe one of the hardest to actually kill, since he can just become an indestructible liquid if he has to.
13. Poor Ukitake. :( All that blood-coughing. But assuming his and Kyouraku's potentials are somewhat equal (and no one should assume that ever for anything important!), he could kick Kyouraku's ass in a game of Chess.
My biggest single regret: Urahara isn't a captain anymore, and so not on this list.

9: I gotta say this is probably spot-on. People whose zanpakutou aren't physically-oriented -- who basically have "I Win" buttons -- don't need to do much physical combat. It isn't that they're weak, but rather that they will and have used much less of their potential in that area.
11: No points because it still doesn't cast spells for him!
12: Yeah, he's pretty terrible in terms of combat, but kind of... indestructible is the word.

Unohana WTF. So awesome. Though considering her initial release is Giant Space Manta Ray, I can't imagine what her Ban Kai is. Gotta be something absurd to merit that 100 in Offense.
I think they switched Kenpachi's Kidou and Intellect numbers. XD But interesting. Massive energy reserves, times absolutely zero ability, equals zero, doesn't it.

It makes sense to me that Kenpachi's kidou is 0. His reiatsu is incredibly powerful, but he has zero skill at kidou. There's a difference between rawr, my spiritual presence eats you, and rawr, I am a mastaa spellcastaa. Can he even cast level one spells? Considering how he joined the squads, I wouldn't be surprised if he's never had any kidou training and doesn't care. XD SISSY MAGIC.

Hitsugaya is really impressively strong, especially for his physical age, but of course he's far from achieving his true strength, given what the Arrancar said to him. Right now, after what Aizen did to Hinamori, he's as motivated as anyone to get stronger and kick his ass. Hitsugaya wants to eat his face personally. (Poor guy, it'll never happen.)
