Okay, now, I'm a programming whore, dancing around gleefully waiting for the fireworks on TV to start. But Carson Daly, who is one of the more pointless celebrities ever, just said something annoyingly stupid:

"Fortunately, people soon realized that fireworks were more exciting than reading."

You've never read a good book, have you, Mr. Daly. Do you know how to read?
