Dear UPS,

What the hell is wrong with you? You are the worst postal carrier ever.

I ordered a dress with two-day shipping and accidentally gave the wrong address information to Macy's. Instead of calling my contact number to find out what was going on, you spent over a week just sitting there with my two-day shipping package and I only found out something had gone wrong because I knew that if I waited any longer for you shitheads I'd be going to the wedding in my pajamas, so I researched and I found out where my package was and I found out what the problem was and I fixed it and you guys just, eventually, got your acts together and sent it again.

I ordered four items from Overstock.com. Two were shipped by FedEx. They're here. Two were shipped by UPS. One of them is here. The other one has mysteriously had "billing information voided", even though all four of these packages were ordered at the same time from the same location in the same order and none of the others have had problems and there are still thousands of extra dollars in the bank account in question. It's been sitting in a shipping center for, guess how long?! Sixteen days. And guess why I know that?! Because I can't trust you bastards and looked into it myself.

On neither occasion did I get a phone call, an email, or any other notification from you. Are you a business or the neighborhood Girl Scout who can't remember where her cookies are supposed to go to? Do you or do you not have my contact information? Is this standard business practice with you morons or am I just lucky?

I would happily pay extra if I could ask places like Macy's and Overstock.com to never ship my orders through you again.

No love, ever,
Kay

P.S.: My shiny new icon would probably get me arrested in a postal context but isn't it lovely, it matches [livejournal.com profile] refracting's. ♥ Lovely and horribly accurate, really.

P.P.S., also, edit: I distinctly recall the last time I ordered two-day shipping from them. I stayed home from work to pick it up, the guy specifically ignored my instructions both on the package and on the door and didn't ring the broken doorbell multiple times. This happened two days in a row. When I called UPS they refused to give me a refund on my two-now-four-day shipping, but they told me that if it was really important that I have the package, I could go chase down the driver where he was having lunch at a local Dunkin Donuts and get it myself.

Dear Kingdom Hearts Fandom:

I know that we're all very proud of our Chain of Memories knowledge. But the big castle with luminous white interior decorating in The World That Never Was is not Castle Oblivion.

Castle Oblivion, seen once in the prologue of KH2 before Sora's memories fuzz out, is a big castle with luminous white interior decorating not located near the Dark City.

The big castle with luminous white interior decorating in The World That Never Was, located in the Dark City, is known -- creatively -- as The Castle That Never Was.

I don't know where it came from or why, but whatever it's called officially, please remember that it is obviously not Castle Oblivion. Castle Oblivion is classical and not technological. It is found in the middle of a huge grassy field on a cliff.

Please stop confusing the two. I know I'm nitpicky, but it's kind of driving me crazy. Xemnas doesn't live under Marluxia's roof.

Thanks! ♥
