I am seriously not sure the 3D is adding anything to my gameplay but eyestrain. I will leave it on for a while, but I turned it off and it's not even funny how much easier it was to just -- see.

I've turned off the 3D as well. I just find it really hard to focus on.

Things I've noticed this go around - There's a pair of wall hangings in Pere and Guy's room, and Guy has his tied up out of the way.

Also the Luke/Ion subtext is SO BLATANT at the beginning. I had forgotten how much.

Oh god the Luke/Ion subtext is so blatant. I'm sure I didn't notice it my first time through, but I distinctly recall that much.

Man, I had some awesome shorthand humor stuff for the opening scenes of TOA... I wonder where that went off to.

Ion could shoujo-sparkle at him and it wouldn't even disrupt the tone of the conversation. And then Luke goes all blushy.

Oooh, and I see the wall hangings now that you mention it. Fabre family / Kimlascan colors?

Luke is so fluffy towards Ion it's adorable.

That's kind of what has me afraid with the 3D. I can't even watch 3D movies because they make me sick. :\ I hope it stays a niche thing, and that the 3DS has more to recommend it than just 3D that's unwatchable.

They allow you to adjust the intensity of all the 3D and even to turn it off completely, and I imagine that for most games, the 3D will be a feature and not a requirement. But -- yeah. It's a little hardcore for me right now, and every time I put it down and pick it back up again it's dizzying, which is not really a selling point for a portable game?
