Today failed to be awesome. Moved into the new apartment! Great, right? Only the cat chewed through his carrier before we even left the house and ran to scarf down food, so we had to borrow a carrier that smelled like a cat that he now hates because she's been mean to him for three weeks; he had a panic attack, vomited up all the food thirty seconds after I started driving, whined and hyperventilated for the entire hour drive, and took a dump thirty seconds before I pulled into the new apartment. Thanks for loaning me the carrier, Mom. I'm... I'm taking good care of it.

Then cramps and pain; the movers arrived with 100% of our total furniture suffering damage extensive enough to render them trash; the contractor who I have to make a claim with told me they would send me the paperwork and didn't; every box was stacked directly in front of the cable outlet so I had to move them all to set up TV and internet; the remote control broke so I couldn't set up TV; they neglected to provide me with a coax cable for the splitter so I couldn't set up the internet; I went out and got a new remote and a coax cable and came back to find that my TV service was wrong and the super-internet we pay extra for went out three times in one hour and they swear it's not their fault.

On the bright side: I am very happy with the local Chinese delivery place. So... that makes up for everything! I guess.

Good Chinese food we realized we couldn't continue eating because our apartment conveniently comes sans microwave, so we put it in the fridge and... yeah. Then what.

BUT I JUST BOUGHT ONE, four days later, SO IT'S ALL GOOD.

Good gravy, that's a lot of bad luck. Hopefully now that the universe has gotten it out of its system, you'll have smooth sailing from now on.
