And I haven't even started working my 10.5 hour workdays yet!

Book fairs are a brutal, soul-sucking business.

Only for the two days (although it lasted a third day) (and I have to go in early on Monday) so hopefully it's over now... and I can get back to my normal schedule of...

...I forget when I'm normally supposed to leave work. Book fair has taken over my brain.

The school's book fair is the library's main source of dollars, and it's conference/report card time, so parents are in the building to talk to teachers anyway, outside of regular business hours. So we stay open really late.

My boss works herself to the bone already (she is always in before I am and always leaves after I do) so she left at a normal time, and I stayed late and did the closing for three of the five book fair days.

But, wow, it was hard.

It wasn't as terrible as it could have been -- I felt only a normal amount of tired, I think?? I wasn't like, bone-tired, collapsing, falling-asleep exhausted. My feet were killing me, and I definitely do not want to keep doing that. I don't know how nurses etc do it.
