Spent two hours wrestling with my taxes, gave up. I'll have to go to H&R Block next weekend and pay them to take this mess off my hands. Also spent some time looking at apartments/houses?? but it was not fruitful.

Meanwhile, I have been having the random want to replace all my icons with The World Ends With You character poses. Like, FUCK YOU, YURI AND SIF AND DINOSAUR ICONS. I NEED TWENTY ICONS OF SHIKI MAKING FLIPPY HAND GESTURES.

All of the intensely-scripted dialogue between Liara and Shepherd makes Garrus's silence so tremendously conspicuous. I mean he has had NOTHING to say ABOUT ANYTHING. He is just an extra body on this mission.

I mean I'm not begging for awkward dialogue, but it kind of underlines for me how Shepherd and Liana aren't like this at all outside of the private world of the DLC. I really wish your third teammate mattered at all, because it's good DLC otherwise and I'd be tempted to play it again if there was more interplay. As it is I find the whoel thing rather one-shot; enjoyable, but would you really do it again if you were replaying the game? I don't sense a lot of replay value because I don't sense a whole lot of different experiences here, save the obvious Renegade options.

Yeah, a party member not Liara or Shepard has only spoken once this whole DLC so far -- Mordin had a line ("Unfortunate") when the building exploded. It's a little sad, but it's not the point of the DLC, which is really just a single extra plot mission to fill in some details. And considering it was released between ME2 and ME3, it seems reasonable that it was just a "fix" for waiting fans? idk.

It's a little sad, especially because I'd love dialogue between Liara and anyone else -- literally anyone, I don't care if it's Garrus or Samara or Mordin or what -- but eh.
