Spent two hours wrestling with my taxes, gave up. I'll have to go to H&R Block next weekend and pay them to take this mess off my hands. Also spent some time looking at apartments/houses?? but it was not fruitful.

Meanwhile, I have been having the random want to replace all my icons with The World Ends With You character poses. Like, FUCK YOU, YURI AND SIF AND DINOSAUR ICONS. I NEED TWENTY ICONS OF SHIKI MAKING FLIPPY HAND GESTURES.

So we defeated the Shadow Broker, and Liara comes over to help up Shepard, and then Shepard just. Walks away to go help up Third Party Member. Ouch. (Who happens to be Garrus. For extra ouch.)

The communications all come online and demand to know if everything is okay on the Shadow Broker's end. Liara slowly realizes everyone who's ever seen the Shadow Broker is dead, so she... swoops in to take the call herself. She tells everyone that it's fine, she upgraded some systems, report in by tomorrow. Everyone buys it.

All the Shadow Broker's contacts and information, at her disposal.

/about thirty minutes ago, was like, "So the chances of Liara becoming the new Shadow Broker are, like, one million percent, right?"

Shepard hugs her, because that seems like the right thing to do, and then Liara kisses Shepard, and then immediately feels weird about it, which she should.

All she wanted was to save Feron, but she wants this too. She can help Shepard this way. Shepard says she'll miss her.

Then I spent forty minutes staring at the Shadow Broker's files, riveted.

Talking to Liara. She marvels at how much information there is -- almost too much -- and Shepard cracks a joke about her turning into a creepy computer hermit, and Liara says, "I can understand the temptation. All this power, at my fingertips... Give me ten minutes, and I could start a war."

...But she's going to use this power only to help Shepard. To help fight the Reapers. So. That will keep her honest!
