+ I'm all caught up on Bleach and I am excited about all of the things! I can't believe in two weeks it'll be chapter 600. WTF is this series. I have started dabbling in fic, but most of my time has been consumed with Harvest Moon, because... reasons.

+ My to-play video game list includes Final Fantasy IX, Tales of Xillia, and Dragon Age & DA II (previously beaten but I want a refresher). My to-buy video game list is:

Fantasy Life - October 24
Dragon Age: Inquisition - November 18
Kingdom Hearts HD II.5 ReMix - December 2
Story of Seasons - December 31 (?)

Probably also World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor - November 13, on the principle of the thing. Story of Seasons is the tricksy new name of the Harvest Moon series, because they love our suffering a new company has acquired it for localization and Natsume still owns the rights to the phrase "Harvest Moon", and in fact is now releasing a completely original game and calling it "Harvest Moon". Very tricksy, intellectual property law.

+ I'm definitely an evolutionary dead-end. Darwin would probably be mystified if I manage to reproduce. Things that until the last two months I didn't know how to do properly include: tie my shoes, walk, and breathe.

At least some of them are girls this time! That's new. And the Harvest Goddess is tiny!

Raeger and Klaus both look fine to me, probably Nadi and Cam will also be under consideration.

There were only two in ANB. I suppose I was spoiled by the illusion.

Klaus can give you free perfume, Kay! Although admittedly I'm also curious about Iris. Her hair is very coiffed. :D

Unless he's a CHEAP BASTARD. I do like Iris, though! She, Lillie obviously Lily, and Licorice Reina are all potentials in the AU where I care enough to play a dude. The female character is so cute!

Wow, I had no idea that was being released in English until you said that... But that's frustrating! I don't have a Vita or any interest in getting one. :( I'm glad it's coming over but I don't know if I'll get to play it.

I bought the 360 just for Tales of Vesperia and I regret nothing. But now I am a poor displaced worker with no income and no next-gen game systems! I would definitely be willing to buy a Vita just for the one game, but it would have to be considerably cheaper first (or else I'd have to get a high-paying full-time job, and an apartment, etc)...

TYING SHOES IS HARD. :( My coworker actually had to teach me a new knot so that my shoes wouldn't keep coming untied. I feel you on this.

There's a ton of words here and I didn't think all of them applied to me but the important part is at the bottom: To fix the knot, just reverse the first movement when you tie your shoe. So when you line up the two laces, reverse it so that the one you ordinarily tie in front is in the back.

And then my shoelaces just stopped coming undone even though I was tying them the same way. It was crazy.

That Harvest Moon name debacle is incredibly silly, especially considering XSeed is better than Natsume at translating.

I guess "Farm Story" isn't really a very exciting title, but... There really is no way that the uninitiated would know that was at all related to Harvest Moon. I only found it by accident -- I'm pretty sure I saw it on Amazon in a "You might be interested in..." box, and I thought, "That logo looks kind of Harvest Moony! I'll see what it is."

Maybe there's a potential for legal action if they use a name that's too similar, like... idk, Harvest Story. Maybe that's why the logo is similar instead?

Ah well. The important thing is, new Harvest Moons! And Natsume's localizations really did suck (just yesterday a character in ANB told my protag that he "could not be leave that" and I rolled my eyes so hard) so here's hoping XSeed will be better for it.

Yeah, I think I randomly came across it on Wikipedia or something. It should be interesting as to how they're gonna market that, because if that's the only way to find out...yeah.

I was always more bothered by the random misspellings, but yeah, any extended conversation in HM often tended to be an adventure. There's really a difference between that and say Rune Factory 4

The RF4 translation is amazing. There's no comparison. Must resist the urge to pick it up again I didn't realize that was done by XSeed!! Now everything is beautiful (unless it flops because no one recognizes it).
