Entertainment is really hard you guys
Autoplay videos and videos that take you through a playlist even though you only clicked on one video are a scourge upon our Internet.
I know that I've already recently complained about watching TV shows online, but I'm going to complain about it again. I was trying to watch The Daily Show and The Nightly Show on Comedy Central's website, but the videos kept hanging on commercial breaks and never loading. So I thought, I'll watch them on Hulu, until I remembered that Hulu is a pain in the ass, also often hanging on commercial breaks while in addition mandating that I turn off my ad-blocker, forcing ads even on paid users, and playing commercials much louder than the actual show, a gross assault of capitalism which has literally been banned on actual TV.
So I thought, I'll watch it on Xfinity TV, and then I remembered that Comcast is a disgusting monster trying to ruin the Internet that refuses to play nice with any of my electronics and is planning to take over the damn world.
The last 24 hours has been awful and stressful, except that I sat down last night to peck at my final research paper (which I hadn't touched yet, due on Sunday) and wrote 85% of it in one fevered swoop that I didn't surface from until it was 11:30PM.

Now you have to find me a show equally wonderful to replace it. Get to work.

Just stick to Brooklyn Nine Nine and find a way to pirate John Oliver! He gave us net neutrality, he deserves all the pirating.

And Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been a bit disappointing this season. I mean, I still love it, but I also have a tendency to compare it to Parks and Recreation, which just had an amazing season. So, yeah. ):

except for the very mild sadness that I wanted Andy to have a kid because he'd be such a great dad and I wanted April to not have to have a kid if she didn't want to even though Andy would have the world's cutest kids, so someone had to give in on that. maybe if they hadn't been on their way to a second one.
on the other hand, someone needs to populate the world with intelligent children so we don't end up living in Idiocracy, which is a legit concern I've had lately... maybe she took one for the team.

...did we ever find out what Leslie and Ben's kids are named?

I think their names were mentioned in passing... huh.
Apparently, they are Wesley, Stephen, Sonia!
Someone pointed out to me that Will Arnett told Leslie that one time that "you could go triplets right off the bat" and my mind was blown.

And speaking of Donna's sexy body, was I the only one thinking that Retta looked amazing in the final season? I kind of wanted to see her in that red thing, damn.
And yeah, I do see what you mean. Andy as a dad made a lot of sense, considering he's basically half-kid and probably the nicest character on the show (discounting Jerry). TV has a bad habit of, "Character X wants children and Character Y doesn't, Y comes around and marvels at ever thinking otherwise, HAPPY ENDING," but that's hardly Parks and Rec's fault! Tom was kind of sidelined this season so it's easy to forget about him and Lucy, but they seemed happy in their childless state.

Tom and Lucy didn't even get the question, "Sooooo are you two neeeeext for the breeding stable?" So it wasn't in your face and obvious, but that means it was also being respected. I love the two of them together! I have since they first hooked up.
April was asked, but only because Jerry (or Terry) (or Garry) wanted to know if she'd changed her stance now that he had one, which isn't unfair. I think it would've been good if she'd been happy with one and wasn't looking to add even more, but alas.
I love that they named their son Jack-O-Lantern.

Ooh, it looks like Tina Fey is doing another show together that gets released on Netflix on March 6! Jane Krakowski will be in it too. So that gives me a little sunshine in my life.

The bit on your research paper reminds me of a game review I wrote once, where I got stuck for over a month, then churned the rest of it out in one evening. Pissed me off.
