Shut up.
I don't think people livestream Nintendo 3DS without equipment and expensive/obnoxious jury rigging, so, screw that, even if I wanted to. I will update this post throughout playing on my commentary etc.
Currently: Chapter 17

JAKOB+/SILAS
C
lol I can hear the derision in his voice
"You've never met a sob story you won't hear in full. The more you listen, the more spellbound you become... until you're more weighted down by the problem than its actual sufferer."
Hard-hitting character analysis from Jakob! Rough. He calls Silas a hero and offers his condolences lolol
5/5, because I feel like Jakob ruthlessly grinding away Silas's compassion and good humor deserves a perfect score
B
SILAS: Jakob...
JAKOB: Ugh. Kindly keep those puppy-dog eyes to yourself.
Everyone is weak to puppy dog eyes
Silas clings and looks sad until Jakob agrees to listen to him for 10 whole seconds. Surprise, Silas is depressed on someone else's behalf! Jakob does not get why he cares so much about some newbie who's scared of fighting, or anyone, ever. "The idea of getting so involved in someone else's issues is utterly foreign to me." I love Jakob so much.
SILAS: He said he doesn't want to die, because he left someone behind when he went to war.
JAKOB: Then he should return home.
SILAS: That's what I said, but he insisted he can't abandon his unit.
JAKOB: Then he should stay.
Holy crap, are they Andy and April
Anyway, Jakob points out that if the guy has time to complain to Silas, he has time to think about his problem and come to a conclusion. Silas admits that this is probably true -- there's nothing he can say that the guy doesn't already know.
You give such good advice, Jakob. Man, I love you. 5/5
A
tauntscheerfully points out that Jakob's kind of a nice guy himself, despite his many insistences that Silas is such a do-gooder and he doesn't care bah. He listened to Silas's problem and gave him advice and it was a huge weight off his shoulders!SILAS: I owe you one.
JAKOB: Then repay me at once
SILAS: What?
JAKOB: I demand you repay the time I wasted listening to your drivel
JAKOB: Me? A do-gooder? It's absurd. It's slander. I won't stand for it!
JAKOB: You will restore that time to me at once.
SILAS: H-- How do you suggest I give you back your time?!
JAKOB: There you go again, expecting me to solve your problems. Reprehensible.
Silas takes back his compliment, and Jakob is content. Silas is not fooled, however. Jakob is a DO-GOODER!
5/5 I love them both
