Sylvain immediately hits on Byleth. lol, his middle name is Jose. Also, is it just me, or are there a lot of redheads at this school? Is that Japan's way of indicating that this is not an Asian setting?

Ashe introduces Dedue, who is very eloquent about his appreciation for Byleth saving Dimitri. So, not THAT taciturn, I guess.

Ingrid is also grateful, and Felix is impressed that Dimitri admired Byleth's skills. He is psyched to beat her in combat. Ingrid is like, god, Felix, do we have to do this right away...

Mercedes is very sweet, and Annette is her best friend. Annette clues her in that this isn't just a random stranger, it's the mercenary everyone's talking about. So, you'll be enrolling at the Academy, too, right? Uh-huh, something like that.
