First day of work today.
Yep, consumers are still picky and impatient.
Yep, standing up for hours on end still sucks.
Yep, still hate those goddamn rubber gloves.
Yep... can't stand handling liverwurst/headcheese/ew.
Yep, I even get to confront my fear of cash registers. (Check back Saturday to see if I'm still employed!)
My uniform is a tuxedo shirt (!!!), bowtie (!!!), apron and cap. ...WHAT?
The neck on the tuxedo shirt is so stiff it puts creases into my neck instead of the other way around.
Tangentially, I'm still skeptical of David Eddings' ability to write a female character I don't find overperfect.
