Where's my DGM? I'm freaking out over here.

I'm so productive I should just keel over. I'm making tremendous progress on my original project The Last Dreamer and I'm working on Namine's Notes for Another Side until the Twilight Town sequence is done. I'm starting Oswald's story in Odin Sphere (this game gets much easier once you use an infinite health cheat) and I'm approaching my fourth full moon in Persona 3 and my warlock is approaching level 40 in WoW, and will soon beat out my sad druid for highest-level Hordeling.

I'm also now working on a sekrit project for

Canon Ship: Renji/Rukia. I know you can still win her back, Renji! You've already made up for your mistake. All you have to do is seal the deal~

For some reason people really seem to want her to "redeem" him but if you ask me, that would be her indulging in an unhealthy obsession and him going against all his established character traits. It would be so improbable that he couldn't even do it as a deception to get back into SS, because no one would ever believe it.

"You are one sick bastard" Ship: Y, Yoruichi/Soifon. I just can't do it. I've never seen Soifon look at her without about 10x more worshipful adoration than I think is healthy in a relationship.

"I dabble a little" Ship: A LOT OF SHIPS. Hanatarou/Rukia or Ganju/Hanatarou, and Byakuya/Yoruichi, and Renji/Hinamori, to name a few.

"It's like a car crash" Ship: This category was made for Gin/Rangiku. It's horrible and bad but fascinating and heart-wrenching all the same.

"Tickles my fancy but not sold just yet" Ship: Kira/Hinamori. I like it, but I don't like it. I need to see that they won't dissolve into an emofest in a relationship. To me it looks like a vicious circle right now -- she'll mope because she's still broken, he'll blame himself for not being able to cheer her up and mope, she'll get even more mopey...

"Makes no canon sense but why the Hell not" Ship: Kira/Kiyone lololol. Because he could use a fierce little female who will fight for his honor, but who he's still better than so he can save her if she gets in trouble.

"Everyone else loves it but I just don't feel it" Ship: Urahara/Hiyori. Sorry guys, but it all looked like Urahara being a big softie and a good captain in my eyes. Besides, he has Yoruichi. Hiyori can't hold a candle to her. :D

5. Pack up and leave if they moved next door: Kenpachi. I love him, but that guy would totally scare me out of my neighborhood.

6. Vote for President: ~~Aizen~~ Nanao. We already know she can run an organization, and I think she'd share many of my political opinions. :D

7. Pick as my partner in a buddy movie: Fricking Ikkaku. He's made for it. Wise cracking, maniacal cackling, and fervent enjoyment of violence. I would be the straight man.

8. Pair up: Kyouraku and Lisa. He would make saucy comments and she would return them and we would all laugh but secretly suspect that they were doing it.

9. Vote off the island and into the volcano: Nnoitra. He would make sneering misogynistic comments and leer and I would tolerate that for about -- five minutes.

10. Wheedle into fixing my MP3 player: Hitsugaya. Urahara is the more likely choice, but he'd want something in exchange. Hitsugaya would capitulate under puppy dog eyes and do it, albeit grumbling the whole time.

I had an old co-worker who used to joke about my lack of human emotions. Who needs 'em? heh.

Canon Ship: Adelbert/Julia. Yeah... I'm a loser, this is somehow possibly my favorite ship. XD I, it's just so cute, the idea of the lion and the doe and she owns him.

"I dabble a little" Ship: Yozak/Conrad. I really like this pairing but for some reason it never really strikes a very strong chord in me, so I don't wind up writing for them or anything.

"It's like a car crash" Ship: Gwendal/Anissina. I love the pairing. And every time she comes up with a new invention... CRASH. :D

"Tickles my fancy but not sold just yet" Ship: Yuuri/Wolfram. I like it, but I need to see it actually going someplace. XD

"Makes no canon sense but why the Hell not" Ship: Adelbert/Yozak. I wrote a fic once where I implied that Adelbert was interested in Yozak while he was cross-dressing, before he realized that it was Yozak. He likes girls with meat on them!! He thought it was really funny when he realized, and so did Yozak when he heard about it, and now I kind of like it.

"Everyone else loves it but I just don't feel it" Ship: Yozak/Murata. I liked it until I found out that everyone else liked it. XD Now I don't ship them anymore. I... I don't know.

I didn't realize you were a big Shinou/Sage fan, but I guess that makes sense.

I really like Yozak/Conrad, but I like the tragicness of it, because Conrad can't really get over himself to have the healthy relationships that he culd be having.

I think I wrote an Aldebert/Yozak hate sex kind of fic once maybe. They could have a good vibe.

I always wanted to like Yozak/Murata more than I do. I really like both characters and they have a strange kind of bond, but I don't really see why... But I still want to?

6. Vote for President: None of these jokers. Err, failing that... Murata? He has sagely wisdom and cunning plans, and the politician's lying smiling optimism to sell you on things you know nothing about.

8. Pair up: Conrad and Yozak -- or Jose and Anissina, I can't decide. Both of them would be totally obvious to a shipper, for totally different reasons.

I do the hopeless crushes, so I'd have to have one on Conrad of course, but he really would be the best with the car too... I could probably crush on Yozak...if I didn't know about all the dresses.

Hee! I suppose this would be true. (Though I'm replaying the game from the start on Easy mode and this time around it's not that bad, now that I know how to spam Painkillers and Napalm) I didn't even know an infinite health cheat existed. Maybe I should look that up, have Mercedes fight the big dragon (Worst. Matchup. Ever.) and finally get the secret ending.

I'm tempted to ask for Odin Sphere since I'm in the mood for it, but I guess you're working with unfinished canon, so. Ah. Can you do "Final Fantasy" as one big category?

We have a Gameshark. And I have been playing it on Easy mode, ever since Cornelius's story. I was getting by, albeit with a thousand deaths, but fucking gimmickboss Beldor and his two fucking miniboss sidekicks was just too goddamn much for me. I literally screamed out loud twice during the three days I attempted and failed to beat him. So fuck this game's "Easy mode". Fuck it.

...ahem.

There's too much Final Fantasy for me to cover in one meme... You can ask as many games as you want, though. I like memes. I'll blitz through the rest of the game on my new, improved Easy mode and do Odin Sphere too. :3 Just ask each game in a different comment, I guess?

That Beldor battle was the worst. I kept getting my timing wrong with the mages. It took me forever to figure out how to hit those swords back and then get there in time to actually do some damage. My absolute least favorite battle was one of the ones you have to do to get the secret ending. The gist of it is, the enemy's heads are very high up and pookas, as a whole, are incredibly short. There was a lot of jump-jump-singlehit. jump-jump-singlehit. It was a long battle.

Anyway. I like treating Final Fantasy as a whole because then you can pick and choose depending on what game did what best. Some settings or themes are just better for certain kinds of relationships. Like, I like Zidane/Garnet, but none of the other characters in ffix inspire me to ship.

How about FFXII? There's lots of relationships I like in that game.

That's actually totally true. Perhaps I will make an attempt at that...

One True Pairing Ship: Balthier/Fran.

Canon Ship: ~~Balthier/Fran~~ Um, Rasler/Ashe. I really, really loved their setup and how much she still clung to him after his death. It made me very sad.

"If this happens I'll stab my eyes out with a spork" Ship: Llyud/Filo. I just -- just, please, stop. This is painful and epic fail. Isn't she twelve? Stop it.

"You are one sick bastard" Ship: Vaan/Kytes. I don't know, I just can't do it. They're such... buddies. I can think of ways it might be tolerable -- well, one way it might be tolerable. But I really wouldn't want to do it.

"I dabble a little" Ship: Larsa/Penelo. I liked it much more before I realized everyone else had made it their OTP. Now I just sort of think it'd be cool, but I like Vaan/Penelo more and I don't really ship Larsa with anyone.

"It's like a car crash" Ship: Ba'Gamnan/Tomaj. It's wrong on so many levels. Besides Ba'Gamnan's being a giant lizard man, Tomaj has that collar... ...but I like it.

"Tickles my fancy but not sold just yet" Ship: Vaan/Penelo/Llyud. I could really like that, if they both keep warmfuzzying with Llyud so much. Vaan wasn't jealous of Llyud's bonding with Penelo the way he was Velis's.

"Makes no canon sense but why the Hell not" Ship: Al-Cid/Ashe or Larsa/Ashe. I am interested in both of these relationships, despite the fact that both should be politically disastrous. Although actually, Al-Cid/Ashe could work~~ *looks back on long-neglected al-cid/ashe fic*

"Everyone else loves it but I just don't feel it" Ship: Balthier/Ashe. This has a great big ONE-SIDED slapped on it. I like it one-sided, but I do not ever like it as an actual pairing. Aside from the fact that he has the hottest girlfriend ever, it just doesn't work as a relationship for me. They wouldn't make each other happy.

1. Bake cupcakes for: Larsa. He's so damn cute! And way too smart not to pretend cupcakes are just what he wants.

2. Trust with the keys to my car: Basch. If he can take care of two different sets of royalty, he can sure take care of my car.

3. Put thumbtacks on the chair of: Ashe. If we'd met in school I'd probably have thought she was a total bitch.

4. Have a crush on: Penelo. She's so nice...!

5. Pack up and leave if they moved next door: Ba'Gamnan. I bet he'd have loud parties with all his scary bangaa bounty hunter friends.

6. Vote for President: Reddas. Now there's a guy who can lead, own his mistakes, and be a big damn hero.

7. Pick as my partner in a buddy movie: Zargabaath. A literal example of a gruff, jerky, seemingly unlikable guy with a die-hard loyalty and a good heart. Or maybe Reddas. He already sounds like a character in a buddy cop movie. :D

8. Pair up: Vaan and Penelo. They just have that loving but tetchy childhood friend dynamic that means they end up together, on TV.

9. Vote off the island and into the volcano: Filo. She fails in every conceivable way as a character for me. XD And if I knew someone like her in real life, I would vote her into the volcano with no remorse.

10. Wheedle into fixing my MP3 player: Doctor Cid. It doesn't matter if he talks to imaginary friends, as long as it gets fixed.

One True Pairing Ship: ...hmmmm. I'm gonna say Axel/Roxas.

Canon Ship: Sora/Namine. This was totally canon for part of Chain of Memories. Namine loved him so tragically that she never recovered from him choosing his past over her, and she never stopped listening to his advice. Smile. No matter how sad you are. Because it hurt him, when she didn't smile. God they kill me.

"If this happens I'll stab my eyes out with a spork" Ship: Zexion/Demyx. If they ever interact, you know it will just encourage the fangirls more, no matter what sort of interaction it is. I just hope they never interact. Their fans won't care and I'll feel good about it.

"You are one sick bastard" Ship: Roxas/Namine. They look identical and they were both created at the same time and she rewrote his memories (of her own volition this time) to save Sora and she basically ended his existence. I just... shake my head.

"I dabble a little" Ship: Configurations of the trio -- Sora/Kairi, Sora/Riku, Riku/Kairi. They're all cute, and I'm less against some of them than I used to be, but I'm just not that into them most of the time.

"It's like a car crash" Ship: Marluxia/Larxene. It's like... it can't go anywhere but bad places, and they're both such deeply bad people, but I love it for those reasons.

"Tickles my fancy but not sold just yet" Ship: Seifer/Namine. Teehee! She's a witch and he can be her knight. okayshutup. It can't hold a candle to Sora/Namine anyway.

"Makes no canon sense but why the Hell not" Ship: Xigbar/Demyx. ♥♥♥ They have like, two canon conversations, but Xigbar is such a nice, newbie-friendly guy, and as such, the only one who'll tolerate Demyx. I bet they'd have fun together, and Xigbar (being badass) could take care of him. I like it.

"Everyone else loves it but I just don't feel it" Ship: Leon/Cloud. I just -- since they're both lame, boring, quiet, angsty guys, I don't see what the the appeal of this is, other than, "I'm a fan of Cloud as prettyboy uke" or "I'm a fan of Leon as prettyboy uke" and "they interact with each other omg!!!1" Come to think of it, I guess that may well be the appeal.

1. Bake cupcakes for: Riku. His life started sucking drastically, and he was such a strong character through CoM. I want to see him go there again. XD

2. Trust with the keys to my car: Aerith, if only because she's so nice and pleasant and stubborn that I kind of wouldn't have any choice.

3. Put thumbtacks on the chair of: Yuffie, because she'd laugh with me after.

4. Have a crush on: I can't think of anyone here. XD

5. Pack up and leave if they moved next door: Vexen. Not only would he be a total dick to me, he'd be creepy all the time, too. Fail.

6. Vote for President: Leon. He's learned his lesson about irresponsibility and now he's all motivated and stuff. He'd take care of us the same way he takes care of Hollow Bastion. :D

7. Pick as my partner in a buddy movie: Xigbar. He's totally the type, and he'd have a lot of fun.

8. Pair up: Marluxia and Larxene, because they'd already live together, flirt a lot, and just generally be totally charming sociopaths at one another.

9. Vote off the island and into the volcano: DiZ. Why does that guy have to be such a jerk?

10. Wheedle into fixing my MP3 player: ...also DiZ. No, wait! Axel! He's apparently techie enough to break things (the monitoring computer in CoM, DiZ's virtual reality) so I don't see why he can't fix them, too.

I've had no time for videogames lately.
Not only that, but I've gotten stuck on one of the boss battles in Persona 3.

Canon Ship: Kanda/Lenalee. lol seriously you guys he has a crush on her, I don't care how many of you think he totally luffs Allen or Lavi or Theodore or whoever.

"You are one sick bastard" Ship: Cross/Allen. I just -- I just can't do it, and I will think a little less of people who do, now. It's so very... pure. Cross loves Allen, the way he'd love a lost child, and Allen loves him, albeit reluctantly and with lots of yelling and resentment because Cross traumatized him as a child, because Allen loves everyone.

"I dabble a little" Ship: Komui/Lenalee. I, I ship it, they're just so sweet, but it's bad of me to ship it. :\ I guess it's a little hypocritical of me to ship this but look down on people who ship Cross/Allen...

"It's like a car crash" Ship: Anyone/Rhode. I love her, and I love pairings with her (Allen/Rhode, Lavi/Rhode, Tyki/Rhode) but they're all horrible pairings borne from torture. XD

"Tickles my fancy but not sold just yet" Ship: Allen/Lenalee. I have no explanation; I don't ship it at this point, but I do think it's adorable when I see them interacting. I could probably grow to like it, but right now, not so much.

"Makes no canon sense but why the Hell not" Ship: Noise Marie/Miranda. She bit him!! It was this tender little panel of her turning him into a zombie!! Distressing. But I like it a lot, now that I think about it. He seemed so worried about her and was so gentle with her! Something.

"Everyone else loves it but I just don't feel it" Ship: Bak/Fou. I like Allen/Fou because they were totally almost going to kiss when she was pretending to be Lou Fa, and now I really can't quite see her with Bak. Anyway Bak is pretty canonically obsessed with Lenalee (he gets so growly every time Kanda ~~HIS RIVAL~~ is near her) and I don't think Fou would appreciate it. XD I think they're awesome friends?

1. Bake cupcakes for: Theodore. He's so cute!! XD Crying at the drop of a pin, knitting sweaters for Kanda, fussing over everyone... I bet he's a matchmaker. *fic idea*

2. Trust with the keys to my car: Uh, none of them would know how to drive it. :\ Maybe Bak Chan, since he is a genius who, unlike Komui, does not regularly almost kill everyone with his genius.

3. Put thumbtacks on the chair of: Bookman. I don't... know why. He's such a brat.

4. Have a crush on: Maybe Lavi? Iunno.
