I'm so close to being done with Tales of Vesperia that I'm itching. And thank god, because I've been ignoring Marina all week trying to power through it, and that's not going to fly. (Been slacking on World of Warcraft too.) I love, love, love this game, and it is astounding how very, very, very gay Rita is for Estelle and Flynn is for Yuri. I just can't even deal with it.

On a related note, I noticed that springkink is starting up again, and I noticed they'd never had a filled Tales of Vesperia request... So I wrote up three prompts for it, and then realized I wanted to write them all myself. This is the problem with me and writing prompts. Either I don't care enough to think of anything, or I like the idea so much I just want to write it myself.

Still no iPod Touch. Filed a police report, though...

For those of you who might be interested but aren't aware yet, libekory and I have been working on a Kingdom Hearts 2 plotline called Another Side, Another Story.

Everyone knows this story: The keyblade master slept for three hundred days. Those with the fate of the world in mind struggled to wake him, but he was not whole; first they needed to find his dark shadow and bring it back to him before he could return and give light to all the worlds. With the two halves of his soul reunited, the keyblade master becomes the hero once more, and brings peace wherever his path takes him.

This is someone else's story.

What if Sora never woke up?

What if Roxas takes up the mantle of keyblade master?

Just a few of the answers to that question: a handful of Nobodies are going to save the multiverse, the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee is going to cram a few more people into their tiny headquarters, Aslan and Roger Rabbit and Goliath will need some help saving their worlds, some old not-friends will await in Hades, and DiZ will Not Be Happy.

I am at: 6778. That's about 1695 words a day, which means I met my quota. WOOOO.

Also rewatched all of GetBackers, and have concluded that sometimes, Bleach filler is nice. As long as we don't get the second coming of the Bount arc, it's vastly preferable to have eight episodes of nonsense, half fun crack and half totally lame "plot", than to have them make up an entire story arc that doesn't make sense and then say, "And that's how they defeated Aizen. The end," while the manga chugs on.

Byakuya/Yoruichi fic: Finished, clocked in at 1430 words. I'm pleased.

Unfortunately, that includes all the progress I made yesterday, so I'd still have to do another 1000-1500 words today to feel good.

Obviously I'm including Bleachfic in NaNo; I have a lot of things I reeeeally want to write. I'm thinking of staggering my work, e.g. Bleachfic counts as well as The Last Dreamer. Does that count? Am I allowed to do that? Or do I have to do entirely Bleachfic or entirely Last Dreamer? That would be sad. :( And would make me feel lame, since I fear Bleachfic would win.

Need to get cracking on my writing, Crysi made it look tempting, and, heck, I have way too much free time, what with the "can't find a job" thing. Challenge me!

I have to made a podcast/netcast for October 27 in one of my classes; since my laptop has a built-in microphone it's not a problem, and I figured I would get in some speech recording/audio editing practice for it by sort of writing a fic out loud.

It's surprisingly hard and I don't know why. I would get midway through a sentence and stop, I would change my mind, I would "umm..." for long awkward moments, and eventually I would just trail off into embarrassed, awkward silence. You would think I couldn't... write.

And I'm thinking about it. I always have a very clear image in my head. Right now I have a very clear image, so clear that if I had artistic skillz I could illustrate it as a still-shot: a slightly spoiled blood elf woman who is at the beach sunbathing when she discovers in a startling way that her equally bratty friends have decided to play a prank on her by hooking her up with a troll. This is not at all a result of me thinking too much about expansion RP.

I can write it. I know exactly what words to describe it and how it will play out in prose. My fingers are itching to type it.

But for some reason when I try and speak them out loud, those words vanish. There is a mental route from my imagination through my fingers, but attempting to detour it to my mouth -- it doesn't work the same way. There is a stumbling block that causes those words to emerge much slowly and less eloquently when I try and narrate prose out loud. Why is that, I wonder? Anyone else have any experience with this?

I wonder if he would saw off his tusks if they fall in love and she really wanted to be able to kiss him without goring herself.

If I were to write a Xenogears fanfic, which, mind you, I am not going to... I think this would be the idea. It would be a collection of short developmental scenes, like my Suikoden fanfic, Fragments of Enlightenment.

I would write one with Fei, locked in a room, meditating. The walls are very thick and strong. The door is heavily reinforced. Fei is working on reaching out to Id, and assimilating him. No more dangerous sub-personalities seeking to undermine his existence and destroy his friends, family, and/or major countries.

Billy is also in this room, with a gun. ( Billy POV. )

It needs more scenes than those, not to mention an ending.

But if I were to write a Xenogears fanfic, that would totally be it.

I like Elly and Fei a lot more in this play-through than the first time I played the game. I just really hate Vierge, I've decided. Nifty Gear as far as actual battle goes. But it offends all my senses.

I will recruit Rico, someday when I have a breather from WoW.
